Join Healthy Start this May for a free, 20-hour hybrid Breastfeeding Peer Support Specialist Training led by Ngozi Tibbs, MPH, IBCLC! Open to Black women who have breastfed, this program equips participants with the skills to support and advocate for Black mothers through culturally rooted breastfeeding education. No professional experience required, just lived experience with breastfeeding and a desire to make a difference. Sessions are held both in-person and via Zoom. Graduates will be eligible to join Healthy Start’s Center for Urban Breastfeeding as Peer Support Specialists.
